Mitchell Road and Huntley Street Alexandria Cycleway Construction

Project Status: Completed
Key construction elements included:
  • Identification of all underground utility services within the works area
  • Co-ordination and execution of traffic signal upgrades as per TfNSW approved specifications, including the installation of new signal posts and associated staging works.
  • Removal of Kerbs and existing road pavement
  • Clear, grub and management of site materials
  • Conversion of highly trafficked vehicular crossings into continuous footpath treatments.
  • Construction of permanent separator cycle lanes.
  • Mill and re-sheeting of highly trafficked intersection and associated connecting roads.
  • Stormwater drainage works including upgrade of existing infrastructure and construction of new drainage lines, pits, and bike-safe grates.
